ABOUT ME

My name is Janiece Spitzmueller, JD. I am an educator, a lawyer, civic leader, and masters of science degree candidate in Neuroscience and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.

I have taught all levels of education, and began my teaching after studying child development in undergraduate school with concentrations in psychology and sociology.

As a government lawyer and civic leader, I worked for family court judges, presided over hearings of suspended special education students, and served on the Youth and Education committee of my local community board.

The SICA Method^TM, my proprietary method, is a uniquely tailored program for 7-12 year-olds who are at a critical point in their development; learning to feel competent or inferior. The SICA Method^TMgives parents the opportunity to positively influence their children’s sense of identity, self-esteem and individuality for a future of happiness, success and fulfillment.
